Pettway, Min. Wanda, Minister

Wanda Faye Pettway was born to Alma Powell and the late Richard Lee Powell on August 29, 1957. She was born in Eldorado, Arkansas. Wanda has two adult children, Johnny Hardison Jr. and Shankia Nicole Stephens, and four grand children, Jianni, Diamond, Juwan, and De Emerald Hardison.
 
Wanda received Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized at the age of 9 in Morning Star Baptist Church in Eldorado, Arkansas. After arriving in Detroit at the age of 12, she was educated in the Highland Park Public School System She received her Bachelor's Degree from Detroit College of Business, which is known today as Davenport University.
 
Wanda is presently employed with the Detroit Public Schools as an Educational Technician at Catherine C. Blackwell institute. She enjoys working with the students to help build their self-esteem, as well as to help provide resources that will help them to become higher academic achievers.
 
Wanda is presently a member of Triumphant Life Christian Church under the leadership of Apostle Joseph Hobbs and Co-Pastor Brenda Hobbs. She is a servant of the Lord Jesus and presently serves as a TLCC ministers of the gospel of Jesus Christ; the TLCC Usher Chaplin; Pre-School Sunday School instructor, ; a TLCC Choir member; and a Bible Study Teacher assisting Elder Cynthia Simmons at the Bethel Tower Apartment witnessing to Senion Citizens.
 
Wanda's passion is first towards serving God and for helping hurting wormen to heal. She also has a passion for teaching the children the word foundation of God in the Sunday School Ministry.
 
Wanda's previouse work experience in the ministry included: youth director, youth coordinator, praise and worship leader, youth Sunday school instructor, and choir member.
