Kingdom Advancement Through Kingdom Investment

By Apostle Joseph Hobbs, Th.D.
Matthew 13:44

Matt 13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. (KJV)

"Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality. It is the words that speak boldly of our intentions. It is making the time when there is none. Coming through time after time, year after year after year. Commitment is the stuff character is made of; the power to change the face of things. It is the daily triumph of integrity over skepticism.-Anonymous

Greetings, to each of you citizens of the Kingdom of God and of His Christ. I would like to thank and especially encourage those who accepted the challenge to invest in themselves through investing in the kingdom of God at this week's conference. Our purpose as brought forth through the Word of God is to advance the Kingdom of God in the earth, which means to literally extend the rule of God. When we possess a teachable spirit and a hunger for the things of God, we are rewarded with benefits that outweigh the time, effort, or finances sown to grow in God's wisdom and knowledge.

God is preparing to use this ministry to sow spiritually into the lives of other pastors, leaders, and ministries. The scripture teaches a principle that I believe bears repeating, it says, "For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more."(Luke 12:48b). Our ministry has been favorably blessed by God with many anointed and gifted believers and I believe that now is the time that God would assign for us to share what we have received gratefully, humbly, and willingly with others.

We must never forget that there are sacrifices that will be required as we move into this new area of service made possible by the Lord. We can ill afford to become miserly with our talents, treasure, or our time, after all whatever we have been given by God we are merely stewards over until the appointed time of accounting. We would do well to remember Paul's, teaching, when he says, "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."(Col 3:23).
