Prov 23:24-25

The father of the righteous shall greatly rejoice: and he that begetteth a wise child shall have joy of him. Thy father and thy mother shall be glad, and she that bare thee shall rejoice.

"When I was a child my mother said to m e, 'if you become a soldier, you'll be a general. If you become a monk, you'll end up as the Pope.' Instead I became a painter and wound up as Picasso." - Pablo Picasso

Greetings and Happy Mother's Day to all of God's precious daughters. I honor and acknowledge you today whether you have been blessed to give birth to children of your own or you have blessed the children of others who have crossed your path. It saddens my heart to listen to the music and watch the videos of this era and to see the blatant attack upon womanhood and motherhood as common subjects of our popular culture. We as the people of God must rise up and restore to God's daughters the dignity and the honor of womanhood and motherhood.

God's daughters are due honor for doing all within their powers to raise sons and daughters who would worship the king and who would honor and respect others regardless of class, gender, or race. Were it not for mothers then as well as now there would be very few churches open and thriving in this country as well as nations around the world. God has used His daughters to raise up powerful men and women in every strata of society who have made a positive difference on behalf of the masses. A believing mother empowers a child to reach their fullest potential by the power of the Holy Spirit and prayer.

I believe that it is up to each of us to speak out against the travesty of dishonor that we see daily in the media. The truth is that without God's daughters society as a whole would not be as advanced as it is. Weare growing as a people because there are woman who recognize the awesome power of being a godly mother to some child. The ability granted by God within the woman allows her to unselfishly nurture another life to reach its fullest potential. We honor mothers today because they are often forgotten when the ones they have nurtured become successful. Mothers we rise up to bless you this day!
